Welcome to the Hanson Horse Ranch website! We raise a few quality horses that can be used in any direction you
point them. We have mostly Quarter Horses and a handful of Missouri Fox Trotters. Most of our horses are
used simply for trail riding and hunting with a few local shows here and there. Our ranch consists of two homes located
within four miles of each other. One ranch resides within the Sheyenne River valley (Don Hanson), while the other (Wyatt
Hanson) is very close by. It is an excellent area for taking our horses out to ride. Take some time to look at
our horses. All of our horses are considered for sale for the right price. We hope you enjoy our site! God

ATTENTION Attention!!!! It seems that everytime we buy a horse and bring it home, it
is at least 2" shorter than the seller swore that he/she was. This is strange since we believe that our method
of measuring to be fairly accurate. We bring them in on a level cement floor and use a fancy horse measuring stick that
has a level on it. Since the horse was taller at the other barn, no matter where the barn is located, this
makes us think that the forces of earth's gravitational pull are stronger at our ranch than anywhere else on earth.
This being said, when you are comparing the height of our horses to the height of other people's horses, if you want a true
comparison you should probably add at least 2" to the height that we list. Because, if they shink 2+" when they come
on the farm, you would think that they should pop back up the 2+ inches as they leave the ranch.
